The Allen's

Drew proposed on Sunday, December 11th while we were on a fun getaway with family and friends in Akumal, Mexico. After a day at the beach, we went upstairs to get ready for some "early dinner reservations". While I was finishing getting ready, Drew and his sister Lindsey went to go get some Ibuprofen in the lobby and I waited for them to get back. A couple minutes later, there was a knock on the door. When I opened the door, there was Lindsey with an envelope and our friend Graceon filming with her phone. My heart immediately started racing and the video caught my very surprised and happy reaction. When I opened the letter it said, "Meet me at the pier. Love, Drew". Tears started streaming down my face as we walked down to the beach. There on the pier stood Drew, with such a beautiful set up and the stunning ocean as our backdrop. I can't remember all that he said, but all I know is that I shouted through the tears YES. Our friends then turned their phones around to show all of our family and close friends on Facetime which made the moment even more special. We spent the night celebrating and soaking up our very special day. Drew could not have planned a more perfect proposal!
