Our story began in 2010 at Mountain View High School in Mesa. We were both in Mrs. Becker's geometry class: Michelle as a dedicated student aide and Andi as a mathematics scholar. Just kidding; math is hard. We spent 55 minutes together every day for a semester and two unfamiliar people became friends. The rest is history.

It took some convincing (cold November rain was falling and the TCS Marathon had the streets of New York backed up), but Andi got Michelle to brave the weather and join her for a tour of the New York Public Library. Little did she know, a photographer was already there and an engagement ring was burning a hole in Andi's pocket. They arrived at the second-largest public library in the United States and their bookworm-hearts were filled with amazement. When they entered the Reading Room, Andi took a knee; Michelle said "yes"; and the room full of library-goers witnessed an act of true love.
