Keith remembers everyone, so apparently we met 3 years ago at Calvary Philly’s Young Adults Weekend In the Word. The speaker said “turn and meet someone new”, Keith met me but I definitely didn’t meet him. Haha! Fast forward a year and a half later, that same young adults group has a large group and small group meetings in different homes across the Philadelphia area. Keith has been a steady attendee of the Gibbs’ small group and we met “again” when I switched to it back in January 2024! It wasn’t love at first sight, actually it was just small interactions and friendly conversations that would make both of us think “This person is solid”. Once strangers, to small group friends, to spending time outside of church activities, to the moment Keith asked me to go on a run as our first date (we In fact did not go on a run). The slow burn love story produced confidence in one another’s character, assurance of one another’s love for the Lord, and a deep and loving friendship!
