Will I need any vaccines prior to traveling to Peru?

Answer

Only if you plan to visit Iquitos, in the Amazon, Yellow Fever vaccine is recommended but not mandatory before traveling. If Iquitos is not on your itinerary, no vaccine is required.

Will transportation be provided to guests?

Answer

For guests flying internationally to Peru, a ride from the Marriott Hotel in Lima to the welcome party, the wedding venue, and the brunch will all be provided.

How is the weather in Lima, Cusco and Iquitos in July?

Answer

July is winter in Peru, and the weather can vary significantly depending on where you are. In Lima, conditions tend to be cool and unpredictable, often with overcast skies. It’s a good idea to bring warm, cozy clothing to stay comfortable during your stay. If you’re planning to visit Cusco, be prepared for colder temperatures and the possibility of rain. Cusco sits at a higher elevation than Machu Picchu, and while July is generally part of the dry season in the Andes, occasional showers can still occur. A raincoat and sturdy hiking boots are essential. On the other hand, Iquitos, located in the Amazon region, will be warm, humid, and tropical. Lightweight, breathable clothing is best suited for the climate there.
