Is there parking available near the venue?

Additional Parking & Entry Instructions (5/24/26): 1) Arrival Time – Guest arrival begins at 5:00 PM. Please do not arrive earlier, if possible. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30 PM. 2) Guest Arrival & Parking – Guests are recommended to arrive via Uber/Lyft or street parking. Please use the guest entrance at the 1776 C Street NW portico steps. 3) Street Parking – We expect ample street parking to be available nearby. Street parking in the area is generally free on Sundays, and guests should be able to find parking within 1–2 blocks of DAR Constitution Hall. 4) Parking Garage Information – If you cannot find street parking, the nearest garage open on Sunday until 11:00 PM is the Western Market Garage, located at 2000 Pennsylvania Ave NW, Washington, DC 20006. The garage is approximately a 15-minute walk from the venue.

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

This will be a formal celebration, and we encourage guests to dress in their finest. Gentlemen are encouraged to wear a suit or other formal attire. Ladies are warmly invited to wear formal Western attire or traditional Pakistani attire — whichever makes them feel their best. We kindly ask that guests refrain from wearing white or red.

What should I wear if I'd like to wear traditional Pakistani attire?

For Women: lehenga choli, sharara, gharara, anarkali suits, formal shalwar kameez, or an elegant maxi dress with traditional embroidery or embellishment. Color Palette: Embrace the beauty of the season in soft pastels and bright summer hues — lavender, mint, peach, blush, coral, sky blue, and sunshine yellow are all perfect choices.
