Gary and Basia met at Bethel AME Church during the week of the Baltimore Annual Conference (where else would two AME preachers meet?). Gary was the Lead Musician of the Youth Night service and Basia was the Worship Leader. Just before the Worship Experience, Gary gave Basia his telephone number and told her to text him if she needed to communicate anything to him during the service. Little did Basia know that this was Gary's way of initiating what would become a beautiful love story.
