Things to Do
Appel Farm is full of fun stuff to do! They have woodsy hiking trails, tennis, basketball, volleyball, bonfire pits, a big playground and more! These activities will be available to all of our guests. When you arrive, you will be provided with a map of the grounds and further information about how to access these activities. Plan your attire/change-of-clothes accordingly.
We will also have an optional PUMPKIN CARVING party on Saturday afternoon from 1:30pm-3:30pm. This is open to everyone! We will provide pumpkins, carving tools, patterns, and candles. At night, all of the pumpkins will be lit up and placed around the grounds for everyone to enjoy! (You can even take it home with you after if you are local!)
If this is your first time to the Philly area and want to explore the city, there is a TON to see and do. However, our #1 recommendation is to visit Eastern State Penitentiary....see below:
