Please arrive by 5:00 PM — the ceremony begins promptly at 5:30 PM.
We’ve got a plan! The Woodlands is home to the Hamilton Mansion which we can move to if needed — the celebration will go on, rain or shine.
The formal celebration wraps up at 11:00 PM, but we’ll probably keep the night going somewhere nearby. Maybe The Happy Rooster — the bar where we rang in our first New Year’s together after getting stuck in the subway — or maybe wherever the night takes us.
The Sonesta is about 15 minutes from The Woodlands and just a few blocks from Harp & Crown — a quick rideshare and easy walk.
No shuttles — but rideshares like Uber or Lyft are quick and easy in Philly. SEPTA trolleys and Regional Rail also connect The Woodlands and Center City conveniently.
While we know photos are quick and easy to take from your phones, we kindly ask that you refrain from taking photos/using electronic devices during our ceremony. We have hired a wonderful photographer that will be taking photos of the ceremony and reception, and we will distribute them to you once they've been published. We are confident that the photographer will "get the shot!" Outside of the ceremony, feel free to take all of the photos you want (and be sure to send us the good ones!)
Think cocktails, good music, and vintage speakeasy energy — no stiff stuff here. Come festive, ready to celebrate, and maybe slightly competitive (in the bowling sense).
Absolutely — there may not be a formal dance floor, but that’s never stopped us before! Also... bowling!
Yes, actual bowling! Elbow Lane has two vintage lanes — they provide shoes too!

The ceremony and cake toast are outdoors at The Woodlands; the reception is indoors at Harp & Crown’s speakeasy, Elbow Lane.
