Things To Do

Milano

Milano

Italy

Milano, unlike common belief, has a lot to offer. It is one of the best cities to live in Italy and many Italian's favourite. Goksu spent 4 years here as well. Here are some of the top attractions: 1. Start from Piazza del Duomo 2. Visit the world's first luxury mall, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. Legend has it that if you spin around three times with your heel on – ahem! – a particular part of the bull between its two hind legs, it will bring you good fortune. 3. Then head to Luini, a Milanese staple, for a panzerotto 4. Visit Castello Sforzesco. Dating back to the 15th century, Milan’s Castello Sforzesco was once one of the largest citadels in Europe. 5. Sip canalside drinks in Navigli

Lake Como

Lake Como

Lombardy, Italy

Lake Como is popular for its landscapes, wildlife and spas. Infamous Lake Como is just 40 min drive / 1 hour train away from Milano. Some of the top attractions: 1. Take Como-Brunate Funicular ride up to Brunate for breathtaking views. 2. Take a boat trip on Lake Como and enjoy the lake views and stunning villas. 3. Visit Bellagio: A picturesque town on Lake Como known for its stunning scenery and beautiful villas. 4. If you are feeling adventurous, you can do a seaplane tour over Lake Como (you will need to book in advance). +many more

Lake Garda

Lake Garda

Italy

Lake Garda is Italy's largest lake and is known for its beauty, culture, history, and climate. It is only 1 hour away by train. There are plenty of trains during the day, it makes it perfect for a day visit. Some of the top attractions: 1. Explore the villages: Visit the 25 picturesque villages that are connected by the Gardesana state road. Borghetto sul Mincio is considered one of the most beautiful villages. 2. Cruise around the lake: Take a cruise around the peninsula or islands. 3. Visit castles and ruins: Explore the historical monuments, castles, and fortresses. Scaligero Castle in Sirmione is a popular sight. 4. Go active: Enjoy activities like sailing, windsurfing, biking, trekking, climbing, riding, kite surfing, diving, and canyoning.

Cinque Terre

Cinque Terre

Italy

Cinque Terre is a string of centuries-old seaside villages on the rugged Italian Riviera coastline. In each of the 5 towns, colorful houses and vineyards cling to steep terraces, harbors are filled with fishing boats and trattorias. The journey from Milano to Cinque Terre takes 3 hours by train. If you want to visit all 5 towns, you will need more than 1 day. But in a day trip, you can still visit the major towns by taking the first and last trains of the day. If you want to spend more than 1 day in Cinque Terre, we recommend staying at La Spezia and taking hop on/hop off trains (only 15mins) to travel across towns.

Venice

Venice

Italy

We thought no need to explain Venice :) Venice is Venice and it is only 2.5 hours away from Milano by train.
