What is the dress code?

Answer

Formal attire is requested. Please note that cocktail hour will be held outdoors and the reception will take place indoors. October evenings can be chilly, so we recommend dressing accordingly. Pray for sun!

Can anyone join the Welcome Drinks?

Answer

Yes! Welcome drinks are open to all wedding guests. Light bites and drinks will be provided, and we can’t wait to see everyone on Friday. Feel free to come and go as you please – rest up for the big day ahead!

Is there Parking for the Welcome Drinks?

Answer

The Bartons’ driveway will not be able to accommodate cars, so we highly recommend getting dropped off or taking an Uber. If you do drive, please park at the East Hampton Library and walk over — it’s about a 5-minute walk. Additional free parking is also available near Mulford Farm on James Lane. If you require special parking accommodations, please text Amanda at 631-680-9333. Thank you!

What color are the bridesmaids wearing?

Answer

As a small favor, our bridal party will be wearing blue, so we kindly ask that guests choose a different color if possible. Think cozy fall colors and timeless neutrals – warm browns, forest greens, burgundy, soft pinks, champagne, and beige are all perfect choices.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony.

Answer

Please plan to arrive before 4:00 PM, as the ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 PM. The ceremony will be a traditional Greek Orthodox service and will last approximately 40–45 minutes. Following the ceremony, guests will enjoy a tented cocktail hour featuring cocktails and passed canapés.

Is there parking at the venue?

Yes, there is plenty of complimentary parking available at the church. No need to worry about the parking situation!

Where should I have dinner Friday night before the welcome drinks?

Answer

Matthew and I love so many restaurants out East, but a few of our favorites are Blue Parrot, Bostwick's Chowder House, Cittanuova, 1770 House, The Meeting House, and Fresno. They're all conveniently located near the Barton family home!
