Barton and I knew each other in high school. Barton and his family lived up the street from mine. Bart was in 10th grade while I was in 9th. We did not hang out when we were younger because I was not allowed to have boyfriends in high school. Bart and I reconnected about seven years ago. I moved back home from Baltimore and began to set up my life here as a new mom of two. I reached out via facebook to old friends and connects stating that I was back in town and that we should all get together. Bart was one of those contacts, so I slid into his DM's! He was a father of one. We hung out a few times before actually going on a date, one on one. We ate at Buffalo Wild Wings. Then we went on another date to our first escape room, naming ourselves as team #love in the making. We were successful completing our escape room challenge with only :45 sec on the clock.
