Our story began in late December 2023 when we matched on Facebook Dating. At the time, Alyssa was visiting her mom in Florida, but distance didn’t stop us from getting to know each other. We spent our days messaging, talking on the phone, and FaceTiming, quickly realizing there was something special between us. Just over a week later, on December 28, 2023, we met in person for the very first time. After multiple flight delays, Alyssa finally landed back home in Connecticut after 3:00 a.m. Though at the time, George was in New Hampshire visiting his parents, he still insisted on picking Alyssa up from the airport in New Haven, CT, making for a memorable first time meeting that very early morning. The very next day, on December 29, 2023, we had our first official date at Barcelona in Fairfield, Connecticut. From that date forward, our connection continued to grow, and we quickly became inseparable. Over the next two years, we built a life filled with love, laughter, adventure, and countless memories together. Then, on December 10, 2025, during a beautiful trip to Maui, George asked Alyssa to spend forever with him. Surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of Hawaii, Alyssa happily said yes, “of course.” Now, we can’t wait to celebrate the next chapter of our journey with all of our family and friends.
