We met in homeroom in sixth grade at Cockeysville Middle School. Sarah's first memory of Evan is him having the same handwriting as their science teacher. Evan's first memory of Sarah is that she was tinier than the rest of her friends. After becoming friends in their sophomore year of high school, Sarah resolved that if she had any classes with Evan junior year she would try to see if there was a spark. After weeks of annoying all of their friends with a "will they won't they" and several science group projects, they went on their first date to watch The Shining. After high school, we spent three years in a long distance relationship while Sarah was at the University of Cincinnati and Evan attended Webb Institute. This was followed by one year of medium distance after Sarah moved to Hartford, Connecticut for our senior year of college. We have since been enjoying a no distance relationship in New Hampshire since 2024.
