Who would have thought working an extra shift in Volare would end up in a marriage. Corey was working up in Boston for a travel assignment and came into Volare for dinner one night. In true Danielle fashion, I wasn't the friendliest upon meeting. After this a few months went by... Another Volare night, we saw each other again, the night before Corey went back to Alabama. There was an instant connection yet it felt cut short. Corey planned a 24 hour trip to go take me on a date to dinner and a Redsox game. Arriving with flowers, like every trip we did over the next year. But the first time i dropped Corey off at the airport I instantly was sad. And we knew this was something worth working at. This led to A LOT of back and forth flights, endless FaceTimes and I miss you texts, and counting down the days till we would next see each other. Until we got tired of the distance, I made the move to Alabama so we could start our life. We have had a lot happen since then. We’ve had many vacations, family nights, bought a home and I officially adopted Kyah. Being her mom and Camilla’s step mom has been such a blessing. With both of our families being so spread apart, this wedding is probably the only time that we will ever have all of our people in one place at the same time, what better way to celebrate the love and life we have made.
