We met through our good friends Brigid and Brad who will also be in our wedding party! :) Brigid and Brad thought we would hit it off, so we all went out on a group date first. Well they were right, we all had a blast together as a group as well as Jon and I realized how compatible we were. A few weeks later we went on our own first date and the rest is history!

We decided to take a weekend get away trip to NYC in December to see the Christmas tree as well as explore the city at Christmas time! It was a cold Saturday and we spent the entire day walking around and doing "touristy" activities. It was getting to be dinner time and Jon had already made dinner reservations. He said one of his really good friends recommended this place. We took an elevator up to the restaurant and the hostess started leading us outside. It was a beautiful rooftop with gorgeous views of the city and skyscrapers. To my surprise, there was a pathway of rose petals and candles that led to a table with champagne and pictures of us. I was so surprised, I still did not know Jon was going to propose, I thought it was just a romantic dinner! Not too long after, Jon got down on one knee and and asked me to marry him! That was the best surprise I've ever had and so memorable! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Baltimore!
