Aaron and Hannah met when they participated in the same 10 day Birthright trip to Israel in May 2014. While Hannah believed their paths would likely never cross again after that, Aaron successfully lured her to Seattle later that summer with his free flight perks from his job at Alaska Airlines. Hannah immediately fell in love... with Seattle that is! And while they spent time visiting back and forth Hannah eventually made the decision to move there because she simply couldn’t stay away for long... from Seattle!!! And the rest is as they say, history! Aaron and Hannah moved to Honolulu in 2019, where they spent a couple years benefitting from more flight perks with Aaron’s new job at Hawaiian Airlines. On the 7 year anniversary of their Birthright trip Aaron and Hannah traveled to French Polynesia for vacation. They first visited Tahiti and stayed in an outdoor bungalow where Hannah threatened to instead sleep in the car one night after intrusions from cockroaches, geckos, and rats. (She drew the line at the rat!) Luckily from there they flew to a smaller island, Taha’a, where Aaron kept Hannah guessing, but he did drop down to one knee on the last night and asked her to marry him! (In case you missed it – she said yes!) Now back in Seattle they adopted Lucy, an adorable mutthead fur baby, into the family. Aaron is now pursuing his MBA at University of Washington, and Hannah is still getting a taste of the Hawaii life by working remotely as a buyer for T&C Surf, the company she joined while in Hawaii. After 8 years together, we can't wait to celebrate with all of you on September 4, 2022 as we officially become family!
