Bryan Bartelt
Best Man
Bryan is Garrett's eldest sibling and, honestly, Garrett's icon. Garrett has always admired Bryan for doing everything in life first, and doing it perfectly. Growing up they moved states relatively frequently due to their dad's job, but always had their sister Karla, and each other. Together Bryan and Garrett have spent countless hours playing tennis, and discussing their current favorite beers. This picture is from when these cheese heads got to see their beloved Packers play in São Paulo, Brazil last year.
Daniela Eguizabal
Maid of Honor
Lauren and Daniela met in the first week of nursing school and the rest is history. They were roommates post grad, then when they moved to Minneapolis with their partners, they lived within a mile of each other. As life would have it, Lauren and Daniela both moved away from the Midwest but ended up in different cities. Daniela now lives in the Pacific Northwest, and so any opportunity there is, they are hopping on flights to go and visit each other.
Everett Dupler
Groomsman
Garrett and Everett met in elementary school during boy scouts and have been friends ever since. Garrett and Everett have been together for so many life events, from childhood to adulthood. They went to the same middle school, high school and college. The two have been roommates and have worked three jobs together over the years. You can often know if the two are together if you hear intense and constant laughter. Together they have spent countless hours playing video games, camping, fishing, and just enjoying each other's company.
Grace Kaase
Bridesmaid
Grace and Lauren met in college but became close while Lauren lived in Minneapolis. Grace would often come over for dinner at Lauren and Garrett's house. She called them "Mom and Dad" as a joke, and Lauren and Garrett would always make sure she ate a vegetable (not a joke). Grace and Lauren have the most fun doing just about anything. Fun fact: after being friends for some time, Lauren and Grace found out that they are related! Lauren's (paternal) grandma, Isabel, and Grace's (maternal) great grandma, Paulene, were sisters!
Jacklyn (Jackie) Thompson
Officiant
Jackie is Lauren's older cousin who grew up just down the street. In the summer, holiday break, or on almost any weekend -- Lauren was with Jackie. Jackie and Lauren were always scheming ways to ask their parents if one could stay at the other's house. Jackie was the older, smarter, and cooler older sister figure in Lauren's life. Lauren has watched Jackie do all things first: coloring in the lines, riding a bike, prom, marriage, and motherhood. Since childhood, Lauren knew that Jackie would be involved in her wedding. Lauren and Garrett both admire Jackie for her kindness and leadership, which makes her the perfect officiant.
Victoria (Tori) Hansen
Personal Attendant
Tori is Everett's (Garrett's best friend and groomsman) partner. Tori initially met Lauren as Garrett's girlfriend, but over time the two have developed their own friendship. Lauren has learned over the years that Tori is a friend you can rely on anything for. She is kind, righteous, and cares deeply for those in her life. Together the two have spent many nights together cooking dinner in each other's homes, playing any sort of game, singing karaoke all night long, and laughing (or rolling their eyes), at the things the boys do.
