Am I expected to bring a gift if I'm flying over?

Answer

We are so happy that you were even able to come, please do not feel obligated to spend more on a gift. Your presence is a gift!!!

How are we ever going to get there? Planes, trains, and automobiles, oh my.

While Jack and I might be crazy busy for the week prior, we will try our best to have a team of helpers waiting to do pick-ups and drop-offs if required.

I have a food allergy, should I be worried about the dinner?

Answer

The chef wants to be made aware of any guest food allergies prior to the day. Please contact me or Jack to let us know if you have an allergy.

What kind of weather am I packing for?

Answer

May is a great time of year in California because it's warm, but not so warm that you'll be sweating (we hope!). Pack for warm weather, but bring jeans and a jacket because nights can still be chilly.

When should I rsvp by?

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Men should wear a dress shirt, slacks, and a conservative tie or bow-tie. A sports coat is optional. Women can look for dresses that are below the knees, or a dressy skirt and top. They can be flowy or form fitting. For heels, we recommend a block heel or flats, as we’ll be spending a lot of time on the grass (you won’t want to sink). White is off limits ;)

What's for Dinner?

Our dinner will be served buffet-style, with a choice of chicken piccata and steak with mushrooms. Please let us know if you have any allergies!

Should I Rent a Car?

Answer

If you plan on going anywhere after the wedding, you'll need a car. But please check my travel tab to see about renting a car straight out of SFO.

Please be at our house no later than 4 PM to ensure we will be ready to start at 4:30
