If possible, we would love to have your RSVP (whether it is a YES or NO) no later than February 8th
Typically when you go to Koreshan State Park, you will have to pay a parking fee; when you arrive at the park, there are 2 lanes to drive through - instead of going the standard route, which would be pulling down the *right* lane to pay, you will turn down the *left* lane and inform the ranger station that you are there to attend the wedding. Also, any carpooling that can be arranged would be beneficial for everyone involved ... if anybody coming in multiple cars would like to coordinate riding into the venue together, there is a Publix grocery store right across the street from the entrance that would be a perfect place to park and drive in as a group.
Admittedly, we have a tendency to run late for most things but please be at Koreshan no later than 3 pm - you will have to park in the lot near the historic settlement and take a short walk to the ceremony site (there will be someone there to direct you!)
Because of the delicate nature of the historic settlement, we are trying to limit the impact of our event by not bringing in too many decorations or chairs ... as a result, we have decided to have this be a standing ceremony. If you feel as though this will hinder your ability to enjoy the ceremony, we invite you to bring your own folding chair or blanket to watch us exchange our vows.
Since the reception will be held in our large backyard, we have plenty of space to arrange cars in our front yard as well as any overflow in the business lot that is located directly next door to our home. For those that haven't been to our house before, there will be signs and/or balloons to direct you down the long driveway and we will have someone there to help you park your vehicle; any carpooling might be a convenient option as well!
