We both grew up in Sayreville - There is a three year age difference between us, so we knew of each other but our paths hardly crossed while in school. About 12 years later our friend groups started to overlap when Ryan moved into an apartment with a mutual friend.
While we were friends, Ryan asked Kim to be his date to a wedding..little did Kim know it was his cousin John's wedding, Ryan was the best man and she would be meeting the entire family! We had a blast but still funny to this day that he left out that little piece of information out..
A few months later we had our first "official" date on Good Friday in NYC. Ryan's train broke down on the way in... for two hours! He got off in Secaucus and I met him in Hoboken. With all the original plans ruined, we popped into the first bar we saw.. got some apps, drank beer and took a couple shots of Jack Fire. We have been inseparable since and this is still our go-to kind of date!
After a year of dating, we decided to purchased a home in Sayreville together, it was a ROLLERCOASTER! Three years later, we are settled in and have filled our home with so much love, tons of laughs, lots of parties and so many memories with all our friends and family! Thanks for everyone who helped us along the way!
A quick weekend trip to Hershey Park with Kim's family turned into the sweetest day ever! We met everyone at the Hotel Hershey for a quick lunch before heading to the park. We were walking through the courtyard and Ryan said "Lets go take a picture over here by the fountain".... instantly Kim knew THIS WAS IT since Ryan NEVER wants to take pictures! He confessed his love and excitement for our future...then quoted Game of Thrones and "bent the knee". It was perfect!
