Back in 2016, two proud South Carolinians, Haley and Barron, found themselves navigating the wild world of freshman year at the University of South Carolina. While others were figuring out how to do laundry for the first time, Haley was making moves—boldly messaging Barron on Instagram (yes, she shot her shot). Sparks flew instantly over a shared love of animals, wanderlust, new cuisines, and, frankly, just having a really good time. What started as witty banter turned into dates, deep convos, and, before we knew it, a full-blown relationship. We managed to fall in love, survive group projects, and graduate with our bachelor's degrees in 2020—just as the world decided to shut down. #PandemicGraduates Haley, ever the overachiever, went on to earn her master’s in social work in 2021. With diplomas in hand and adventure in our hearts, we relocated to Winston-Salem, NC, where we built a cozy life, made forever friends, and collected unforgettable memories. In 2023, we moved again (we’re not great at sitting still) to Huntersville, NC—just outside of Charlotte. Now we live in south Charlotte with our two ridiculously adorable cats, Chloe and Winston. Yes, Winston-Salem inspired the name. No, we don’t regret it. These days, you can find us getting very competitive at pickleball, scouting out the best local bites, and sipping craft beer with friends. Basically, we’re living our best life—and we can’t wait to take the next step by saying "I do." So grab a beer, a paddle, or a cat (or all three), and join us for the celebration!
