WE'RE GETTING MARRIED!

We wouldn’t necessarily say it was love at first sight. It’s hard to fall in love with someone who’s sweaty and wearing shin guards…but friendship at first sight sounds pretty right. The year was 2012. The month August. The first point of eye contact was most likely in the athletic training room at Quinnipiac University, where both of us were in the heat of preseason as freshman on the soccer team. Steven had looked up all of the freshman soccer players on social media in advance, so he knew exactly who Amanda was. The girl in overalls eating a turkey leg in her Facebook profile picture. Looking back now, it was pretty on brand. It took a few days for the girls on the freshman team to invite the boys over for a friendly meet-and-greet, and the rest is history. The start of a friendship, inseparable bond and maybe a little flirting…until junior year when it turned into more. Eight years later and here we are!

We are so excited to share this special weekend with all of you and truly appreciate everyone traveling far and wide to celebrate with us. We couldn't imagine starting this next chapter of our lives together without all of you by our side! Now...let the countdown begin until September 2023!
