Forever with you!

It was a particularly cold night for Arizona in February 2022, two strangers met for coffee and sat by the lake talking for hours. The hours seemed to fly by and next thing they knew it was the middle of the night. As they said their goodbyes, the boy stated he would text the girl when he arrived back home which was an hour away. The girl smiled and told him to drive safely as it was very late. Upon their departure from that small coffee shop, she didn't think it to be true that she would hear from him again...but after that hour long wait, he texted her asking for a second date. She was thrilled that he was so different from the rest and gladly accepted the invite to another date. During their second date they played a round of mini golf and again the hours seemed to fly. Once it was time for them to part ways, it was very late again. This time, the girl had to drive an hour back home, and the boy said to drive safely and to text him when she got back. The girl smiled and stated she would. When she arrived home safely, she texted the boy to let him know that she had a wonderful time with him and that she couldn't wait until she got the chance to see him once more and the boy agreed. From then on, over the first year of their relationship they took turns taking that hour long drive back and forth to see one another and spend time together. They enjoyed each other's company so much and fell in love fairly quickly. During their first year together, the boy and the girl did many fun things together. One of these things included a trip to California, they spent the evening walking along the shoreline of Santa Monica beach where they stopped to watch the sun set and listen to the ocean. While they were stopped and embracing one another, the boy smiled at the girl and the girl smiled back. The boy then said, "I have been wanting to tell you something... I love you". The girl, with a big smile, happily said that she loved him too. When they arrived back home from that trip, both of them were so incredibly happy and excited to be in love. A few months later, the boy asked the girl if she would like to meet his son. The girl was over the moon that the boy had asked and gladly agreed to meeting his son. Upon meeting, the son and the girl had a wonderful bond, and it was almost instantaneous. They all spent much time together over the next few months, driving back and forth and going on adventures. By now, the boy and the girl had been together for over a year, and they had decided to move in together. It was a big step but a fun and adventurous journey. They found a cute little place that fits them perfectly and they started to make it their home. Another year flew by in the blink of an eye and the girl and boy have been so happy living with one another and enjoying life together, so much so that the boy had a surprise. He had been secretly planning his proposal to the girl. She had no idea what was coming next, he planned a small trip to California and brought her and his son back to the beach almost 2 years ago to the date they said "I love you" to one another. The day flew by, and they were having a blast playing in the ocean, gathering seashells and enjoying the sun! Upon the sun setting, the boy asked the girl to take a picture with him. He got down on his knee and said, "Will you marry me?" With tears welling in her eyes, she happily agreed to marry him as he is the best thing to have happened to her.
