Albany's airport (ALB) is about an hour away by car, and Hartford's (BDL) is about an hour and 20 minutes. Both have non-stop flights to many east coast cities, and one-stops nearly everywhere else. Car rentals are available from major companies like Hertz, Avis & Enterprise.

Of the large international airports, Boston Logan is the closest, 2-2.5 hours by car. The New York area airports (including Newark) are just under 3 hours driving.
