Barrett and Cole first met the summer before 7th grade when their middle schools joined together to make a short film about campus rules titled, "Don't Be Like Josh". It won't be a surprise to most that Cole was casted as "Josh", the rule-bender, and Barrett was the rule enforcer. Barrett and Cole stayed friends until the summer of 2010 when they officially started dating. After Barrett begged her parents to drive her to Cole's house, and picked up Jessica Bernard on the way to get around Barrett not being allowed to be alone with boys, Cole and Barrett spent their high school days together. After graduating from high school, Barrett and Cole went off to Washington State University (Go Cougs!). After graduating from WSU, they moved to Scottsdale, Arizona where they adventured the desert together and got their Fox Red Lab, Rio. After moving back to Seattle in February, on September 4th, 2020, Cole proposed to Barrett on Lake Chelan in front of some of their closest friends and family. We can't wait to celebrate in our favorite place with all of you whom have been a part of our story!
