It all started in 2019 at a charity event in Chicago, right around the time Barrett had just made the city her new home. What began as a chance encounter quickly blossomed into something neither of us could have planned. From there, we built our life together one chapter at a time, bouncing around the West Loop, figuring out Chicago together, and somewhere along the way, adding a four-legged family member named Abe to the mix. After a few moves and plenty of memories made, we finally planted our roots in West Town, a place we’re proud to call our first true home. During a trip back to Barrett’s hometown Atlanta - surrounded by the friends and family who mean the most to us, the question was finally asked. She said yes! Through it all, there’s been one place that has always felt like a little slice of magic — Rosemary Beach. From nearly the very beginning of our relationship, it became our home away from home, a place we’ve returned to again and again to slow down and reconnect. So it only felt right to celebrate the next chapter right where so much of our story has lived. This October, we can’t wait to say “I do” surrounded by the people we love most, in a place that has always held a special piece of our hearts.
