Michael and Alissa met when they were in high school and secretly had a crush on one another. They lost contact for 12 years after high school until Alissa messaged Michael on instagram randomly. She wrote " Hey I know we haven't talked in years but you randomly popped into my head the other day. Just thought I'd see how you are doing." Her intentions in sending the message was to see if there was anything she could specifically pray for. Michael and Alissa agreed to go for coffee to catch up as old friends. They were expecting a short hangout but instead spent hours together. Being with each other felt so effortless. Michael dropped Alissa off and both went home feeling confused by their new emotions towards one another. Michael eventually asked Alissa to hangout again. It was during that hangout that Michael and Alissa confessed how they felt about one another. They both agreed that they only wanted to date for marriage. This began a two month period where Alissa and Michael seeked God on whether they were each others Husband and Wife. During this time, Michael and Alissa continued to hangout and learn more about one another. Michael received his answer from God first and two weeks later Alissa received her answer. Both were instructed by God to look a list, they both created prior to meeting one another, that had the characteristics they desired in their Husband/Wife. Michael asked Alissa to be his girlfriend on June 19th, 2024. They created a plan of individual goals they had started and needed to finish before they could get married. They calculated that it would take about a year and committed to one another to not get engaged prior to a year of being in a relationship. Michael and Alissa met all of their goals. And just a little after a year of being in a relationship, On October 4, 2025 ( Alissa's Birthday), Michael proposed to Alissa. And on March 7, 2026 Michael and Alissa are getting married. Join us virtually as we enter a covenant with on another and commit ourselves before God to be with one another for the rest of our lives.
