Question

If I'm flying in for the wedding, what airport should I fly into?

Answer

The largest airport to fly into, with approximately 45 airlines and 130 gates, is Orlando International Airport. Their airport code is MCO. There are 10 rental car companies at this airport. This airport is approximately 35 miles from the wedding venue. If you prefer not to rent a car, you can always use Uber or Lyft for a ride from the airport to Bella Collina.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We have provided pre-addressed and pre-stamped RSVP cards for you to return to us. We should receive those by April 9, 2022. Please also select your meal choices on the RSVP cards. Other than mailing RSVPs, you may instead opt to RSVP on the website, including your meal options, at the RSVP tab.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00p.m. Please arrive approximately 30 - 45 minutes prior to the ceremony, allowing time for venue security check-in, parking, checking any children in at the ballroom for babysitting, arrival welcomes, and guest seating.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, there is. The dress code is semi-formal which means tuxes, full-length evening gowns, suits, and cocktail dresses are welcome. Men may opt not to wear coats or ties but must wear formal dress pants, formal button-down shirts, and formal dress shoes. No casual attire is permitted at this venue. We look forward to getting dressed up with you.

Question

Are there any colors that guests should not wear?

Answer

Yes. We kindly ask that you not wear any colors traditionally reserved for the bride: whites, ivories, and creams. The bride wishes to carry on the long-honored tradition of being the one wearing white or any variation of white. We thank you for respecting this wish.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes! The bride and groom are registered at Amazon and Target. You can find the links and instructions for these registry sites on our website under the registry tab.

Question

Is the Bridal Shower Brunch for the whole family?

Answer

No, sorry, this shower is only for the ladies of your family. When you RSVP to the shower, please do not click on "Attending" for all of your family members' names. Please select only the names of the ladies within your family group that will be attending the shower.

Question

Is there any way I can participate in the bridal shower even though I cannot attend?

Answer

Yes, thank you! You may visit the "Registry" tab on this website and send a registry gift to help the bride and groom make a brand-new start. We would also love if you would send your best or favorite recipe for the bride to add to the recipe book we will be gifting her with.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We are pleased to accommodate the children who are immediate families of invited guests. We ask, however, that you check in infants and young children at the event sitting area during the ceremony. Although you may pick up your children at the conclusion of the ceremony, you may enjoy this complimentary sitting as late as 7:30 p.m. You need to register your child or children on the RSVP tab of this website that will be checked in at the babysitting area so that a count can be given to the event sitting service. Please indicate the ages of your child(ren) when completing your babysitting RSVP. Event babysitting is for children only.

Question

Can I choose an adult meal option for my child?

Answer

Since we are welcoming all your children to the wedding, we ask that you help us out by choosing kids' meal options for all kids under 12 when you RSVP and select meal choices. If you will be leaving your child(ren) in the event babysitting through dinner, then please do not select a meal choice for your kids at all. They will be fed dinner along with the other children in the event babysitting.

Question

What is the event babysitting about?

Answer

The event babysitting is a complimentary service to you and yours. Please take notice that event babysitting is for children only, so when you RSVP to this, only select your children to RSVP. Do not click on "Attending" for all of your family members' names. We ask that you check in all of your children under the ages of 5 for a quiet and undisturbed wedding ceremony. You may check in any children of any age less than 10 at your discretion if you believe your child to be antsy or grumpy upon arrival. Please arrive to Bella Collina early enough to give yourself time for arrival welcomes and for checking your children in over at the ballroom. You may pick up your children at the conclusion of the wedding ceremony, or you may leave them there to enjoy the company of other children as late as 7:30 p.m. When completing the RSVP for event babysitting, please indicate the number of children you will be checking in and their ages.

Question

Is it okay for me to take pictures and videos with our own phones and cameras during the wedding ceremony?

Answer

We will be having and "unplugged" ceremony. This means that we ask that all phones and photo-taking, video-capturing devices be put away and on silent mode or turned off during the ceremony. Why? Well, we have hired a professional to capture our most important moments and we'd hate to have a well-meaning person's phone or device blocking that moment for them to capture. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like. Special ceremony photos and videos will be shared after the wedding. Thank you for respecting our unplugged ceremony.

Question

Is the wedding and reception indoors or outdoors?

Answer

This wedding and reception are outdoors, weather permitting. Please keep this in mind when choosing your dress styles, cardigans, wraps, and covers, and your shoe wear. When looking ahead to weather, watch for temperatures during the afternoon ceremony and the evening hours of the reception. Please realize that this is an outdoor event during May in Florida. As much as we want to, we cannot control the heat. We will likely be feeling very warm during the ceremony, but, the ceremony does only last a brief 30 minutes. After the ceremony concludes, you can visit the air-conditioned indoors, in the main building where the restrooms are located for reprieve. Once the sun goes down, during the reception, we should get a much more comfortable outdoor experience.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate additional guests. Due to limited capacity, we can only accommodate invited guests and their immediate families.

Question

Will we need to wear masks?

Answer

Since mask restrictions have been lifted and our event is fully outdoors, masks will not be required. Wearing a mask is a personal choice.

Question

Is the venue a hotel?

Answer

This venue is not a hotel. Bella Collina is a gated, luxury, golf community that offers event locations. Additionally, they offer a limited number of 2-bedroom and 3-bedroom vacation-style condo rentals. If you are not able to secure a condo at the venue, there are plenty of nearby hotels. Please visit the "Travel/Accommodations" tab on this website for hotel information.

Question

Can we dine at Bella Collina?

Answer

Yes. Bella Collina has options for dining but please make reservations. More dining options are listed in the "Things To Do" tab on this website at the bottom of the page under "Local Montverde Eats & Treats". You may also take a short drive into Winter Garden or Clermont for other local restaurants. Orlando is also not too far away!

Question

Is there anything to do at Bella Collina?

Answer

Yes. Bella Collina offers a Sir Nick Faldo championship golf course for premier golfing, a full-service spa, tennis, walking trails, dining with impeccable views, and swimming pools for those staying in one of their condos. If you plan to enjoy the spa, please call and reserve spa appointments ASAP due to a high demand for bookings around our wedding date. You can also get out and enjoy driving, walking, or biking the quaint town of Montverde and Truskett Park on Lake Apopka. The hills of Montverde are some of the highest in Florida and are a beautiful view from Lake Apopka.

Question

Is this venue close to Orlando for a stay & play vacation?

Answer

Yes! Orlando is only an approximate 25 miles from the wedding location. There is so much to see and do within a short drive from Bella Collina. Check out a long list of interesting activities in the "Things To Do" tab on this website. Be sure to pay close attention to routes that include tolls when choosing GPS routes to your places of interest.

Question

Is there anyone I would know in the wedding party?

Answer

This wedding party is a supportive group of 10 girls and guys including junior groosman and junior bridesmaid, and ring bearer and flower girl. Surely one of your friends or family members is in it. Go over to the "Wedding Party" tab on this website to familiarize yourself with the bridal party.
