Brian’s passions include sushi, comics, and Brenda. He studied Economics at UC Davis and established a career in Finance. After 7 years in the field, Brian made a bold decision to transition to a different profession and pursued his graduate degree in Business Analytics at Georgetown University. He enjoys fitness, discovering music, exploring new places, shoes, and video games. He spends his days with Muffin, laughing with his Fiancée, and eating sweets. Brian is excited for this new chapter in his life with someone as light-hearted, understanding, and quirky as Brenda! He is so grateful he found someone he can embrace his inner child with!
Bride
Brenda’s passions include reading, dancing, and Brian. She has been a high school counselor in Oakland for over 5 years. She is mommy to Muffin the Shih Tzu. Brenda can be found with coffee, psychological thrillers, Muffin, or a new fitness craze. In her spare time, she will teach ballet, travel, and create memories with friends/family. Brenda is so excited to be marrying someone as thoughtful, patient, and hilarious as Brian. She feels most lucky that she found someone who will walk miles with her in search of Little Free Libraries.
Bridesmaid
Elsa Tesfai is the most kind, generous, and authentic person ever! She is well-travelled, a soccer player, an amazing mother, and the strongest person Brenda knows. The two met at Oakland High School where they worked together for 5+ years; they’ve been learning from one another and celebrating each other ever since. Brenda is honored to have Elsa by her side!
Bridesmaid
Lizzie and Brenda have been friends for a decade. Lizzie is creative, talented, unique, and truly unforgettable - Anyone who knows Lizzie, knows that. Brenda loves Lizzie for how comfortable she makes her feel and how silly they can be together. There is so much gratitude and excitement that Lizzie is traveling to join us on the big day!
Maid of Honor
Italia Ratcliff is Brenda’s best friend of 10+ years. She is an author, teacher, and a human Wikipedia. Italia is the most interesting person that Brenda can name. Brenda is overwhelmed with the love and full support of her best friend in the worst and best of times, but especially during this new chapter in life!
Best Man
Jose is not just Brian’s nephew, he's been like a brother from the start. Growing up together, they bonded over video games, anime, and music. He's very thoughtful, has a great sense of humor and always keeps Brian laughing. Watching him grow up and become an incredible dad has been an honor. Brian is grateful for the laughter, the shared passions, and the strong support for one another they’ve always had.

Ramon and Brian go way back to the first day of high school. He’s one of Brian’s oldest and most trusted friends. He’s the kind of guy you can count on without hesitation—reliable, respectable, easy to talk to, and always down to talk One Piece. Brian can count on Ramon for anything, and he feels lucky to have him standing by his side on this big day.

Brian met Joshua at UC Davis while in the same Managerial Economics major and business club. Their shared love for comics, travel, and good food quickly turned them into amazing friends. He’s the life of the party, always inclusive, and his positive energy lights up any room. Brian would call him the embodiment of a golden retriever the way he’s so friendly with everyone. Brian feels lucky to have someone as kind, fun, and adventurous as Joshua in his life.
