So, let me paint this picture for you. The setting is Southwest Tennessee Community college right here in our beautifully bipolar city, Memphis, TN. Its August, and if you're an experienced Memphian like myself and my sweet butter bean, you already know its hotter than Hades big toe, and due to the humidity, everyone is sweating their soul out. Its the first week of our Fall 2015 semester, and like most students, were already begging for a break...now before I move away from this hilariously captivating style of writing and start writing in first person, ill let you know this is written in Maddy's perspective, because lets be honest. 1. Kyle wouldn't have the patience to type all this out. and 2. Who's actually doing the planning here? Anyway. Its my fourth day of class, and thankfully my last class of the day: English Comp II. Usually its an unspoken code to arrive early on your first few days of class in order to assert your dominance and claim your 4x4 plot of desk you'll be residing in for the next several months. Unfortunately I arrived late on my second day and lost my chosen seat to someone else... Fair enough. Now I had 2 choices due to the very limited seating. I could either sit in the very front of the class, or the very back. it was clear to me there was only one choice for me. I instantly approached the only open seat left in the back of the class. I glanced at the very handsome, eccentric blonde hair, blue eyed gentleman to my left and asked if the seat had been taken. He assured me that it wasn't and I took my seat. Thinking that would be my only interaction with this man, I pulled out my Nintendo and began to play a game, which of course only peaked his attention more. he introduced himself as Kyle, and I Maddy. And thus began our long journey of 3 years so far. Every day is a journey, and were in it together. he's the butter to my toast. the peanut butter to my jelly, the milk to my cereal, the cheese to my grapes...oh..well i'm out of room
