Wisconsin State Capitol
The Wisconsin Capitol building is Faith's favorite view in the world, and it is one of the coolest buildings you will ever see. The capitol rotunda displays beautiful artwork and sprawling staircases. There are many rooms to explore, and they have an observation deck where you can look out over the city!
Mondays Neighborhood Bar
One of our favorite bars. It's kind of a dive, and the drinks will melt your face off (you have been warned!). However, we love it. Their patio is great, they have darts, and they serve free popcorn!
Garibaldi Mexican Restaurant
This is Faith and Barney's favorite Mexican restaurant of all time. The margs are strong, the free chips and salsa is amazing, and you will want to try everything on the menu.
Madison Farmer's Market
The Madison Farmer's Market is one of the most traveled to Farmer's Markets in the state. It will be from 6am-1pm on the morning of our wedding, so if you have some free time before you get to the ceremony, make this a for sure stop! If you do go, grab an extra Stella's Hot and Spicy Cheese Bread for Faith!
I/O Arcade Bar
Drinking and playing vintage arcade games at the same time is one of the best times a person can have. Bonus points for tons of pinball machines and cheap skeeball.
The Old Fashioned
This place is voted as the Best of Madison for both its cheese curds and its Wisconsin-style old-fashioned. It's a must-visit for both Barney & Faith and the whole city of Madison! They also offer brunch on Saturday mornings.
Memorial Union Terrace
This is a hot spot for the summer to recline in a classic Terrace chair while enjoying gorgeous views of Lake Mendota and snacking on great food from one of the delicious restaurant options. They also sometimes have live music on Friday nights if you arrive in Madison early for the wedding!
Henry Vilas Zoo
The Vilas Zoo is a FREE admission zoo with a huge variety of animals. We have visited tons of times since moving to Madison and it is a fun experience every time.
