A short and flat 1.5-mile hike to one of the Chesapeake Bay's historic lighthouses, located in Elk Neck State Park. The trail end also features a breathtaking view overlooking the Chesapeake Bay on a 100-ft tall cliff. Make sure to layer up as it will be March!

A short walk down the road from the Wellwood restaurant, take in the scenic view of where the North East River meets the Chesapeake Bay on the fishing pier! This is also the site of a major supply depot for American armies during the Revolutionary War and War of 1812, remains of the wharf can still be seen.
