It all started with a swipe. On Tinder, of all places. Rachel was drawn in by Kyle's smile. Kyle drawn in by Rachel's eyes. There was an undeniable spark that began with a simple exchange of messages, but little did they know, it would lead to something that would change both of their lives forever. Their first date was at the Copper Steer, in Safford (now known as Frontier Steakhouse) where they sat outside on the patio, talking and laughing for hours before they even thought about ordering food. There was a sense of ease between them, as if they'd known each other much longer than just a few hours. Time seemed to slow down, and for the first time in a long time, they felt completely comfortable and at home with someone. As their relationship grew, so did their love for each other and their growing family. They each brought children from previous relationships— Stetson, Bentley, and Aniyah—and watching their blended family come together has been one of the most rewarding parts of their journey. Through it all, Kyle’s been an amazing father to all of them, and seeing the way he loves and cares for the kids makes Rachel's heart swell with gratitude every day. There’s so much Rachel loves about Kyle—the way his laugh is contagious, his goofy sense of humor, and how he always knows how to make her laugh, even on the toughest days. But above all, it’s the love and dedication he shows to their family that fills Rachel with admiration. After just three months of dating, Rachel knew without a doubt that Kyle was the one. It wasn’t just about the big moments—it was in the little things, the everyday gestures, and the way they fit so perfectly into each other's lives. When the time came for Kyle to propose, he did it in the most perfect way. Planned for months ahead of time. He made sure to ask Kevin and Alicia for their approval. Spent time asking Rachel's sister Nicole for her opinions on a ring and getting input from his mom Stephanie and sisters Cortney, and Kaylee. Kyle even had them take Rachel out to get her nails done for the big moment, without Rachel ever having any idea. It was New Year’s Eve, surrounded by friends and family, and in that moment, Kyle knew that his life was about to change forever. His proposal was one of the happiest moments of their lives, and it felt like the beginning of an even greater adventure together.
