Julia was born and raised in South Jersey while Chad grew up in Southern California. Chad used to vacation in South Jersey with his family growing up. So, it is not out of the realm of possibility that their paths crossed many years before knowing each other existed. Julia moved to Nashville, Tennessee in December of 2017 while Chad was close behind in August of 2018. They worked at neighboring bars on Broadway in downtown Nashville (Julia at Luke Bryan's, Chad at Jason Aldean's). Their paths crossed many times over the years, but Chad never had the courage to approach Julia for the sole fear of being rejected and embarrassing himself. Little did he know that the whole time Julia had eyes for him as well. It wasn't until May of 2021 when both of them ended up at a mutual friends apartment and immediately hit it off. They spent that whole night talking, laughing, and smiling and both knew that there was something real there. Even after all that Chad was still too scared to ask for her number so their friend put them in a group chat and Chad finally had the courage to ask her out on a date. From then on their love for each other grew more and more each day. Any day that they didn't work they would always be doing something together, whether it was boat days, concerts, movie nights, wherever she was, he was and vice versa. On days that they couldn't be together, they would talk on the phone for hours filling each other in on what they missed. As days turned into months and months turned into years they finally moved out of Nashville to Mount Juliet and traded in the nights out for quiet nights at home cooking, playing games and cuddling up on the couch with their dog Boomer. On December 14th, 2023 Chad decided that he couldn't waste anymore time and wanted to ensure that Julia would be in his life forever. While back in California taking Christmas photos in front of the tree, Chad pulled the ring out from behind the couch, got down on a knee, and asked Julia to be his wife. After screaming in shock and excitement, Julia caught her breath and said the easiest yes of her life! They spent the first year of engagement traveling and soaking in every moment of being a newly engaged couple, but they are done waiting and can't wait to celebrate their love by tying the knot with all of their closest family and friends on October 12,2025!
