Question

When do I need to RSVP?

Answer

Kindly RSVP by 1/24/25. Final head count will be sent to vendors after this time.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited venue capacity, we are unfortunately unable to accomodate plus-ones for each guest. If you have been given a plus one, it has been indicated on the envelope containing your formal invitation. Please reach out if you have questions.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

We want our wedding to be a fun, care-free evening for all of our adult friends and family. For that reason, we ask that you please not bring your children. Take the night off, you deserve it! Please note that an exception will be made for our flower girl.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We would love for our guests to wear semi-formal attire. Suits and cocktail dresses are recommended. Formal attire is welcome as well! Please avoid wearing white (reserved for the bride) and sage green (reserved for the bridesmaids). Please avoid jeans, tennis shoes, and t-shirts. Please note that the ceremony will take place outdoors, so come prepared for the weather! If weather conditions do not permit an outdoor ceremony, the ceremony will move indoors for everyone's comfort and safety.

Question

What should I do if I arrive late?

Answer

Please plan to arrive between 4:00-4:15 pm. Please do not plan to arrive early as the wedding party may still be taking photos. Our ceremony will start promptly at 4:30 pm. Late entry to the ceremony will not be permitted because the sidewalk to the ceremony area doubles as the aisle. If you arrive late, please find your seat inside the reception hall. The cocktail hour will begin immediately after the conclusion of the ceremony!

Question

Can I take pictures/videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly request that all phones/cameras be SILENCED and PUT AWAY during the ceremony. We promise to share our professional photos with you all after the wedding. However, feel free to take as many pictures & videos as you please during the reception!

Question

Do I need to bring a gift?

Answer

The most important gift you could give us is your presence at our wedding. That being said, if you would like to bring a gift, the registry tab on this website is a great place to start. Feel free to bring a gift not included on the registry if you'd like! Please be sure to label your gift so we know who to thank.

Question

Will dinner be served?

Answer

Yes. The menu will include chicken piccata, roast beef in au jus, balsamic green beans, garlic mashed potatoes with brown gravy, cavatelli alfredo, Italian salad, and rolls with butter. If you have any severe food allergies, PLEASE note this on your RSVP.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes (mostly)! Our wedding will feature an open bar tab up to a set dollar amount. Beer, wine, seltzers, soda, and juice will be included on the tab. Once that dollar amount is reached, a switch will be made to a for-purchase bar. Mixed drinks are available for purchase. Haue Valley does not permit the serving of straight liquor. Please do not bring in your own alcohol. The drinks are on us, but please tip your bartender!

Question

Where can I stay?

Answer

Please referring to the "Travel" tab on this website to find hotel options. We recommend Quality Inn or Comfort Inn, as these are both only a few minutes away from Haue Valley!

Question

Where can I park?

Answer

Haue Valley offers free, private on-site guest parking.

Question

Is smoking allowed?

Answer

If you would like to smoke tobacco, please do so outside AWAY from the entrance to the venue in the designated smoking area. Marijuana is not permitted at Haue Valley.
