Question

HOW DO I GET TO NORTH WOODS YMCA CAMP?

Answer

Google Maps will lead the way if you enter "North Woods YMCA Camp." The address is 1 Northwoods Rd, Mirror Lake, NH. You will turn into the drive with the large green sign and follow a long dirt road to the administrative building on the left (photo of this on the Camp Photos page). Check-in will be held at this building Friday AND Saturday.

Question

WHAT IS NORTH WOODS CAMP? WHAT CAN I EXPECT FROM A "CAMP" WEDDING?

Answer

North Woods Camp is a YMCA boys summer camp located on Lake Winnipesaukee. There is a sister camp - Pleasant Valley - on the same property. We will have exclusive access to all facilities at both camps from Friday through Sunday. The camps sit on over 200 acres of wooded property in New Hampshire's stunning Lakes Region. You can expect from our camp wedding: bonfires, water activities, intense lawn games, lots of delicious food, and an all around good time. It's summer camp for adults! We're inviting you to stay overnight at camp with us Friday and Saturday to maximize our fun together. Most of the lodging options are "rustic style." These are cabins with twin beds, no electricity or running water (but plenty of bathhouses around with showers, hot water, electricity, all the necessities). More details on staying overnight are included below.

Question

How do i let you know we want to stay at camp?

Answer

Let us know if you'll be staying via our website's RSVP form. (Form will be available after invitations are sent out.)

Question

I'm staying off site - can I still join for camp fun and/or CAMP MEALs?

Answer

Yes please! "Camp meals" refer to Saturday breakfast, Saturday lunch, and Sunday brunch. These meals have a small cost if you are not staying at camp. Friday dinner is covered for everyone. If you would like to join for meals, just indicate this on the RSVP form so we can notify the camp chef! No accommodations but all camp meals: - Adult (18yo+): $35 - Kids: Free!

Question

What are the camp stay options and how do I pay?

Answer

All camp reservations should be made directly with us - no need to call the camp. You may choose to stay overnight Friday, Saturday, or both. The cost breakdown is as follows: Camp Meals ONLY (no stay): - Adult: $35 - Kids: Free! 1 Night Stay and All Camp Meals: - $110/person - With bedding: $140/person - Kids: Free! 2 Night Stay (Fri & Sat) and All Camp Meals: - $130/person - With bedding: $160/person - Kids: Free! A reminder that no matter your option, if any, a complimentary dinner will be provided Friday night for all! Pay for your accommodations via: Venmo: @Alec-Caputo

Question

HOW DO I KNOW WHAT MY ACCOMMODATIONS AT CAMP WILL BE?

Answer

Once your payment is received, we will coordinate your lodging. No further action is necessary on your end. You will be sent your accommodation details via email after the RSVP deadline. Please email aleccaputo7@gmail.com if you have any special accommodation requests and we will do our best to make them happen.

Question

WILL MY CABIN HAVE ELECTRICITY?

Answer

Maybe - this is a rustic summer camp with only a few lighted cabins. However, there will be lanterns/flashlights available, and the bathrooms have electricity for hair dryers and anything else you might need to get ready. While you may want to unplug for the weekend, the dining halls have outlets for charging. If you need a cabin with electricity for medical purposes please email us at aleccaputo7@gmail.com.

Question

Answer

CHECK-IN: Friday, September 5, AFTER 2pm - Saturday, September 6 anytime BEFORE 2pm at Barstow Lodge (building will be marked when you arrive at camp) CHECK-OUT: Sunday, September 7, by 11am.
