Dear Family and Friends, We have some big news to share with you all! We found a house we love, and our offer was accepted—so we’re now officially becoming homeowners! As part of the VA loan requirements, Devin and I need to be married before the loan is granted. With that in mind, we've decided to get married at the courthouse. While we’ve always dreamed of a big celebration with all our loved ones, we realized that a courthouse wedding is the perfect fit for us. Devin's family is in Florida, mine is on the West Coast, and the idea of planning a large wedding has been overwhelming. Instead, we’ve chosen to focus on our future together by investing in our new home. We can’t wait to start this journey together and share it with you. The courthouse ceremony will be intimate and special, especially as one of the district court judges I regularly appear before has agreed to officiate. But don't worry—we still want to celebrate with all of you! There's no law that you can't have multiple ceremonies.... so our hope is to renew our vows when we can be home and have an intimate celebration everyone can be apart of. Once we're settled, we’ll have an open invite to our new home. As we are so excited to celebrate this new chapter of our lives. Thank you all for your love and support. We look forward to celebrating with you soon!
