Formally known as Squaw Ski Resort, your home of the 1960 Winter Olympics! There is so much to explore here! Walk around the village for shopping or get a bite to eat. Hannah & Jake's favorite ski bars are Le Chamois & The Slot Bar. Take a ride up the Gondola to High Camp for a restaurant with insane views.

For guests who love the outdoors, the Shirley Canyon trail near Lake Tahoe is a beautiful choose-your-own-adventure hike worth checking out during your visit. If you’re looking for a more relaxed outing, you can wander a short distance along the trail to enjoy seasonal waterfalls and deep pools, perfect for photos, picnics, and a refreshing break before turning around. For those seeking more of a challenge, continue along the trail for about 3 miles to Shirley Lake (with ~1,000–1,300 ft of elevation gain) where you’ll be rewarded with alpine views and a chance to cool off by the water. If you’re up for a serious workout and stunning panoramas, you can go even further (~5 miles total and ~2,000 ft gain) all the way up to High Camp, where you can have lunch, relax and ride the aerial tram back down to base.
Calling all golfers! This course is rated as one of the best 9-hole courses in America. Hannah & Jake can't help but play every time they are in Tahoe in the summer. You don't want to miss it & make sure to leave time to grab a bite to eat at the restaurant, Spindleshanks, before or after your tee time!
