Please see the travel page of our wedding website for information about room blocks. If you prefer to stay elsewhere, there are many VRBOs, Airbnbs and other hotels that are convenient to the museum. The museum address is 120 W Gasparilla Plaza.
Daytime temperatures in Tampa in late April are typically in the upper 70s and 80s with temperatures dropping into the upper 60s and 70s in the evening. Several of our wedding events will take place outdoors, including the ceremony and the reception. The Tampa Museum of Art is located adjacent to the Tampa Riverwalk, and we anticipate a light breeze throughout our wedding.
Our wedding attire is black tie. The wedding will take place in a paved, covered area of the museum of art and guests will not need to walk on grass. Men can wear black suits or tuxes. Women can wear floor length dresses. Please no floral maxi dresses.
Welcome party attire will be smart casual. Please no jeans. Men can wear khaki or golf slacks with a collared shirt such as a polo or button down without a tie. Women can wear dresses, jumpsuits, or linen pants.
We do not recommend driving to our wedding as parking can be unreliable at the Tampa Museum of Art and will be paid. There is a parking garage located adjacent to the museum, but parking is not guaranteed and can be busy depending on other events occurring in the area. Most of the room blocks for hotels (visible on the travel page of our website) are less than one mile from the museum for your convenience. For guests flying to our wedding, the Tampa International Airport is about 7 miles or a 20 minute drive from the wedding venue and most of our hotel recommendations.
Unfortunately we will not be able to accommodate children at our wedding. Only children that are in the wedding ceremony will be in attendance. Thank you for your understanding.
The wedding, cocktail hour, and reception will all be located at the Tampa Museum of Art. Once you arrive on site, no further transportation will be required until the end of the evening.
