Hello & Welcome!

We met through a dating app in October of 2016 while he was on leave from MCB Camp Lejeune. She had recently moved to Phoenix in August after graduating college in Austin, TX. After he led with an Obi-Wan Kenobi quote and she quizzed him on his Marvel knowledge, their first date was over breakfast on Halloween. Immediately connecting over mutual nerdiness and dry humor, they dated long distance once he returned to North Carolina.

We went on vacation in the following October to explore California and had tickets to Disneyland. After a day full of rides, people-watching, and churros, she had commented that the day had been too good to be true. He pulled her aside near Sleeping Beauty Castle as the sun set, knelt on one knee, and joked, "What about now?" She teared up before gasping, "Are you f****** kidding me?" He laughed, she laughed, and we were engaged!

We are incredibly excited to share the day with you all! Our ceremony will be a small, intimate event with our closest friends and family, but we welcome everyone to the reception later that evening for food, drinks, and dancing. The morning after, we hope to see you all for brunch before we depart on our mini-moon in Red Cliff. Feel free to let us know if you have any questions or concerns!
