Probably not. We are extremely fortunate to have a large circle of family and friends, which means we'll have the rockin' party of which we've dreamed! However, to keep our numbers from exceeding the venue's maximum, we ask that you do not bring a plus one unless your invitation explicitly states so.
We have chosen to have an adult-only wedding so everyone (parents included) can have the best time ever! If you have a young child or children and need help coordinating care for them the night of our wedding in order to attend, please reach out. We are more than happy to recommend some care options so you can attend our big day while knowing they're in good hands!
Cocktail attire please! This generally means a suit or pants/jacket for men, and for women something dressier than a sundress (but hey, if you have a sundress you love and is warm enough for mid-September, by all means, go for it)! Please note our ceremony will (hopefully) be held outdoors on a lawn, so choose footwear accordingly. Actually, most of the weekend's events are planned to be outdoors on grassy areas, so please keep that in mind. The reception will be held in a tent pavilion which has a solid floor. If you have any questions or concerns regarding what to wear, please reach out to Shauna (you can reach out to Bobby too, but he'll likely pass the question to me)! I love wedding attire, and would love to help you choose!
Absolutely! We know we've invited a wide range of dietary preferences and restrictions. We ask that if you simply don't like something, please don't call it an allergy, so the caterer can properly prepare the meals for our many guests who do have allergies. For those of you with allergies or restrictions, there will be a place on the RSVP card to list these. Make sure you fill out that space when you return the RSVP so we can inform our caterer ahead of time. If you do not fill this out when you return your RSVP, we cannot guarantee your meal will meet your needs.
We are officially moving forward with our wedding date of September 18, 2021. We kindly ask that if you are not vaccinated or do not plan to get vaccinated, you do not attend our wedding in order to protect our more vulnerable guests. We will be sad we cannot celebrate with you, and will find a safer event in the future to celebrate with you individually. For those who are vaccinated, keep wearing your masks when appropriate, washing your hands, and stay safe out there! This has been a hard year for everyone, so we can't wait to safely celebrate love and life with you all!
Lucky for you, Shauna recently discovered a basic function of Google maps. Use the link below to open a list of the Hampton Inn Doylestown, Welcome Mixer, Ceremony/Reception/After Party, and Brunch locations for the weekend. You can save each individual location to your Google Maps by clicking on each address in the list and saving it to your favorites or starred locations or bookmark the list as a whole. And yes, we are aware the URL isn't a hyperlink but you can copy/paste into any browser. https://goo.gl/maps/yDsMJjpk4oRnHQz86
