Things To Do

Maine has so much to offer—from mountains to beaches to charming coastal towns. We suggest exploring not just the area near our venue, but also the region where we grew up. We’ve listed our favorite spots starting with ones closest to the venue and working out from there.

Highland Lake Beach

253 Highland Road, Bridgton, ME 04009

This beach is right on the lake and just a few steps from our lovely venue! It’s a great place to swim from the beach, dock, or raft, relax on the sand, wash and launch your boat, and/or fire up one of the public charcoal grills and settle into a shaded picnic table for a bbq with friends.

Woods Pond Beach

676 South High Street, Bridgton, ME 04009

Located on the south end of Woods Pond off Rte. 117, Woods Pond Beach offers a large, sandy beach, playground, public parking, and a roped-off public swimming area with a dock and two rafts/diving platforms.

Pondicherry Park

Depot Street, Bridgton, ME 04009

Pondicherry Park’s a chill little spot right in downtown Bridgton. Easy trails, pretty woods, and a cute covered bridge—perfect for a quick walk or just clearing your head. Nothing fancy, just a nice place to slow down.

Scoop Deck

6 Eldridge Road, Wells, ME 04090

Our favorite ice cream shop! Scoop Deck is a must-stop for anyone in Wells during warmer months. Whether you're taking a sweet break from the beach or just craving a classic Maine treat, it delivers flavor, charm, and nostalgia. Our favorites are black raspberry Oreo, or orange sherbet!

York Beach

York, ME 03909

Spend a sun-drenched day at York Beach! Wander through the shops in downtown York, grab an ice cream cone, or take in the stunning views from Nubble Lighthouse, just a short drive away. Whether you're sunbathing, tide pooling, or enjoying a seaside snack, York Beach delivers a true taste of coastal Maine.

Bob's Clam Hut

315 U.S. 1, Kittery, ME 03904

Bob’s Clam Hut is famous for fast, fresh, perfectly fried seafood. A cherished local landmark, it’s a must-visit for anyone craving an authentic taste of the Maine coast. Try the legendary fried clams or a classic lobster roll—you can’t go wrong.

Lil's Cafe

7 Wallingford Square, Kittery, ME 03904

A cozy local spot known for amazing coffee and their legendary crullers! They are light, airy, and just sweet enough to melt in your mouth. A great stop for breakfast, lunch, or just a quick treat.

Acadia National Park

ME

From rocky coastlines to mountain views, Acadia is New England at its wildest and most beautiful. Hike, bike, or just take in the views—don’t miss the sunrise from Cadillac Mountain or a stroll through nearby Bar Harbor. It’s the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation.
