It all began on a night in Hoboken, when Mike was playing guitar at Jamie’s favorite Irish pub, Finnegan’s. Jamie happened to be there, and from the moment she heard his noodley guitar licks, she became his biggest fan. What started as a spark quickly grew into something more, and before long, their worlds were in perfect harmony. They built their first home together in Hoboken, commuting side by side into New York City for work, and even navigating quarantine together. A time that only made their bond stronger. It was Summer 2019 when Jamie and Mike fell in love on the Asbury Park boardwalk, whether it was spending Fourth of July at The Stone Pony, grooving to a Grateful Dead cover band, or being mesmerized by The Lumineers on the sand at Sea Hear Now, and their soundtrack has only grown richer ever since. Jamie, a Jersey girl with a heart that beats for Bruce Springsteen, and Mike, who aspires to play like Trey Anastasio, built a life together filled with music, beach days, travels, and the sweetest addition of all: their dog Daisy. After falling in love with (and in) Asbury Park, they made it their home, where their love has flourished. And it was on the Asbury Park beach, as the sky turned pink and orange and with their sisters Emma and Paige by their side, that Mike asked Jamie to marry him. Now, surrounded by family, friends, and the endless music of the ocean, Jamie and Mike can’t wait to celebrate the start of their forever.
