In true millennial fashion in late March 2019 we both "swiped right", something we have both been embarrassed to admit but, it was the best thing that has happened to the both of us! Being from Oklahoma, Amanda invited Brian over for dinner for their first date. Brian knew she was the woman for him when he asked why she wasn't nervous to invite a strange man into her home. When she told him she has "pew pew's" everywhere, he knew he had a keeper! We started seeing each other seriously in summer 2019 and moved in with one another in the summer of the BIG COUGH 2020.

From Brian's Perspective: Sheesh! Where to start? To say I was nervous would be the understatement of a lifetime! Our family and friends know that Amanda and I keep no secrets from one another... If they want to surprise us, we both end up telling each other..... So yeah, obsessing over a ring and completely planning a perfect proposal ended with me completely abandoning all plans! I took a knee on our porch shortly after holding the ring in my hand.... I couldn't contain myself... My heart was pounding and I may have blacked out! I'm pretty certain I got the words out but, Amanda will have to tell you the rest of the story! From Amanda's Perspective: It was a complete surprise. Brian told me we needed to run to the post office and pick up a package. I thought nothing of it, probably something for the business, no big deal. When we got home Brian went straight to his office. A while later he called me out to the porch and dropped down on one knee and proposed. He was literally shaking, I was so shocked I offered the wrong hand for him to put the ring on. I did regret wearing sweatpants, but it was perfect and low key. He proposed in the same place where we first met, we did not realize the ring was on the wrong hand until hours later.

Finally, after nearly 6 years of love, We said "I DO". On our wedding day we were blessed with perfect weather, a beautiful ceremony, and our loved ones that traveled so far to spend our special day with us! It was a day we will both cherish until the end of time, and we are forever grateful to everyone that attended and brought love for us to share!
