FAQs

If you have any other questions other then what we've listed here please reach out to Sara or Alex!
Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is Semi-Formal! Ladies think sundresses, floral prints, and spring pastels! Gentlemen, button-down shirts and slacks are perfect and ties are optional (even the groom will be going without one)! We kindly ask that you avoid wearing white or jeans!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend arriving by 3:30pm for our 4:00pm ceremony. This will give you ample time to park, find your seat, and get comfortable before we begin. Please note that our venue has a gravel parking lot, and staff will block the entrance at 3:50 to minimize disruption. If you arrive late, you'll be warmly welcomed to join us after the ceremony concludes.

Question

What are the bridesmaids wearing?

Answer

This color: https://www.birdygrey.com/products/swatch-chiffon-in-dusty-rose?_gl=1*ondc09*_up*MQ..*_gs*MQ..&gclid=Cj0KCQjwyvfDBhDYARIsAItzbZGdQF_oL4X0L4wgxQu4O0-Fl3uMWbw5_BmV_ZEtls17_WYax-UFg7kaAux7EALw_wcB&gbraid=0AAAAADF5i77rn0k8LThkoQemu0JlzTq83

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We'd love to include everyone, but due to venue capacity, only guests who received a plus one on their invitation can bring a guest. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

While we absolutely love your little ones, we’re only able to include children who are family or part of the bridal party. Due to venue capacity, we unfortunately can’t accommodate additional children beyond those specifically invited. If your children are included, they will be listed by name on the invitation or the invitation will be addressed to your family (Ex: The Smith Family).

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! SpringHaus Farms has a big parking lot for plenty of space for all of our guests choosing to park at the venue! Cars cannot be left at the venue overnight and must be off the property by midnight, please keep this in mind if you’re planning on taking your own transportation to the venue! If you are planning to use a ride share to get to and from the venue, we would recommend booking your Ubers/Lyfts in advance for leaving the venue. Comer is a small town and it will be harder to find one when leaving the wedding.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors (weather permitting) and the reception will be indoors! There is a gravel path from the parking lot to the ceremony space, so ladies keep this in mind when choosing what shoes to wear!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

If you have an allergy please inform us when you fill out your RSVP!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

The city of Comer has limited hotel and Airbnb options, so we recommend booking accommodations in or near Athens! Athens is a lively college town with events happening all the time, so we recommend booking your accommodations early to secure a place to stay! We have a list of hotels we recommend on our travel page!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by February 7, 2026. Our final guest count is due shortly after, so we kindly ask that you respond by this date to ensure we can include you in our celebration.
