Our wedding has been planned as a child-free event. However, feel free to bring kids to the welcome party on Friday July 24.

What is Aragosta?

Answer

When we started planning our wedding, we knew that we wanted to have great food at the center of our event! We are so excited to be going to Aragosta, which is a seasonal restaurant and inn located on beautiful Deer Isle on Maine's coast. Aragosta woman owned and run by Chef Devin Finigan who founded Aragosta in 2013. Since then, Aragosta has received numerous accolades from local & regional press. We can't wait to eat and celebrate in such a beautiful place with you all.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Friday night will be more casual (think sun dresses and button downs). For the wedding, please wear Cocktail attire. We encourage guests to wear fun colors! As we will be on the water, please dress in something you will be comfortable and warm in. Our ceremony will be on the beach and other events on the lawn, so plan footwear accordingly. Welcome Party Dress Code: Casual (think sundresses, linens, skirts, dressy shorts, etc.) Wedding: Cocktail attire

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is parking on site for most visitors and there will also be a shuttle leaving from The Ark (Pilgrim's Inn) at 3:30, and also from the Inn on the Harbor in Stonington at 4:00.
