Located about 2.5 hours north of Missoula, Glacier National Park is known for its dramatic mountainscapes, stunningly clear lakes, and pristine wilderness and wildlife. The park is home to over 26 glaciers, hundreds of miles of hiking trails, and the iconic Going-to-the-Sun Road, which offers breathtaking views along its winding roads.
There are many hiking trails surrounding the Missoula area. Some of our favorites include Blue Mountain, Pattee Canyon, M trail, and any of the Rattlesnake recreation area trails. Depending on the weather, you may be able to find some of Montana's iconic huckleberries on these trails!
Downtown Missoula is vibrant and energetic with something to do for everyone! During the summer you can enjoy floating the river, exploring the farmers market on Saturday mornings, listening to live music, browsing the different shops, take a ride on the carousel with the kiddos, and watch people surf and kayak the river.
