Steve and Becky Megli
Bride's Parents
Steve and Becky Megli are Anna's parents. Anna is so thankful for the parents the Lord placed in her life who have helped shape her into the women she is today. She is thankful they have lived a life for the Lord, shared what Christ has done for her, encouraged her, listened to her, and loved on her like Christ. Steve and Becky own their own business called Christian Counseling Ministries, and Becky is a nurse who works at Meadowlake with children with behavioral issues. They currently live in Enid, OK.
Keith and Heidi Barkman
Groom’s Parents
Keith and Heidi Barkman are Tim’s parents. Tim is thankful for the parents that God has blessed him with that have lovingly helped to shape him into the man that he is today. Tim is grateful for their faithfulness to follow the Lord direction to live overseas as missionaries, a decision that has greatly influenced his own goals and desires. Keith and Heidi still currently live and serve the Lord with Wycliffe Bible Translators in Brazil.
Joshua Megli
Man of Honor
Joshua is Anna's oldest brother and has always been her protector and encourager. He is a few years older than Anna, however, Joshua and Anna still act like middle schoolers when they are around each other (Hence the tickle and poking wars). He is currently a traveling physical therapist in California. He absolutely loves to travel around the world and give generously to others.
Hanna Barkman
Best Woman
Hanna is Tim’s younger sister and only sibling. As his childhood companion and partner in crime, and later, one of his most respected confidants and advisors, Tim could think of no one better to be his Best Lady.
Ruth Cochrum
Matron of Honor
Ruth is Anna's creative and outgoing older sister. Ruth and Anna made many memories together as they shared a room growing up and shared similar big, poofy permed hair styles. Ruth is witty and can make others laugh easily. She is a wonderful wife to Travis and mother to her two sons, Jude and Wes. Anna looks forward to Ruth's homemaking expertise.
Evan Borman
Groomsman
Evan and Tim majored in Linguistics together and worked on Dish Crew together during their time at Moody Bible Institute. The combination of dirty dishes and linguistic analysis led to a lasting bond of friendship.
Raquel Gustafson
Bridesmaid
Raquel was one of Anna's first friends at California Baptist University, where they were teammates on the school swim team. They also were roommates during their sophomore, junior, and senior years. They enjoy traveling together and talking about the Lord, missions, and life. She is currently a wife and nurse and is working at LeTourneau University in Texas.
Tyler Wood
Groomsman
Tyler and Tim met at New Tribes Bible Institute in Waukesha, WI where they studied. They also worked together at the Steaming Cup and then in the New Tribes kitchen. Tyler, his wife Hannah, and their three daughters are currently serving the Lord in missions.
Miranda King
Bridesmaid
Miranda was a diver and Anna's teammate on the swim team at California Baptist University. Miranda and Anna lived together the summer before their senior year, which is where their relationship budded and blossomed and where they became partners in crime. Miranda currently lives in New Mexico and is a diving coach for New Mexico State University.
Eric Smith
Groomsman
‘Smitty’ and Tim met at New Tribes Bible Institute where Eric served as Tim’s supervisor on the food service staff. Eric now lives in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho where he works and serves in his church.
Ashley Weedman
Bridesmaid
Ashley was a swimmer with Anna at California Baptist University. Anna and Ashley raced and swam many miles together. They literally swam and competed in the 1 mile race, along with many others. Ashley is tenderhearted and cares deeply for other people. She is currently living in Indiana and is going back to school.
Travis Cochrum
Groomsman
Travis is Tim’s future brother-in-law and fellow Missionary Kid. He is married to Anna’s sister Ruth and together they live in Oklahoma City with their two boys, Jude and Wes. He also works as an engineer in Oklahoma City, and Tim looks forward to developing their relationship.
Meagan Megli
Bridesmaid
Meagan is Anna's artistic sister-in-law with a beautiful smile and uplifting and encouraging spirit. She and her husband, Anna's brother Jon, love traveling all over the world. She enjoys blessing others with personalized handcrafted gifts. She is an interior designer and works from their home in Oklahoma City.
Jonathan Megli
Groomsman
Jon, Tim’s future brother-in-law, works for Continental Resources in Oklahoma City as an engineer. He is an avid hiker and handyman. Tim is looking forward to getting to know him better.
