COVID-19: We will not be requiring masks for guests at our event, but we do encourage you to wear one if you are more comfortable. There will be no mask shaming here! Also, we understand 2020 has been an unprecedented time. If you are not comfortable coming to our wedding, we completely understand! We will not be offended if you decline our invitation and we would prefer you to stay home and celebrate with us in spirit. We shouldn't even have to say this, but we will...for the safety of others, if you are exhibiting any significant symptoms days leading up to the event we kindly ask you to please stay home.
We realize our event will be four days before a heated election. We love all of you and cherish all of your opinions and beliefs, but please, for the LOVE of all of humanity, keep the politics to yourself this one evening. Unless you want to discuss government conspiracy theories or UFO documents. We love that stuff :)
Unfortunately, no. We have opted to go the more traditional route with dress code. However, we do want to have a masquerade! Please bring a favorite masquerade mask. You can purchase one on Amazon.com or any seasonal Halloween store. They even make some masks with full mouth coverage! COVID-19 era win.
We want everyone to have a good time and not get too carried away with a crazy dress code. All we ask for is evening cocktail attire and darker, muted colors for photography purposes. (No hot pink, lime green, fluorescent orange, etc, please!) Feel free to be a little creative with your outfit if you wish. After all, this will be Halloween night! Also, this is a farm and we HIGHLY recommended flat shoes. There are periods of the event you will be standing on grass or gravel.
If all goes according to plan, the wedding will be both indoor and outdoor. We are planning the ceremony and cocktail hour to be outside. However, if the weather does not cooperate we will have to move everything inside the main reception barn. In our past experience, Halloween night can be comfortably warm or absolutely freezing. Please dress appropriately.
The Farm at Glenwood Mountain 1801 County Rd 565, Sussex, NJ 07461
The ceremony begins promptly at 4:30 in the afternoon. However, we invite you to come as early as 3:30 to hang out and tour the farm.
Unless you are currently married, or in a long-term committed relationship, we are not inviting plus ones. We are trying to keep the event as small as possible due to COVID-19. Thank you for understanding!
We love all of your kids---we really do. However, due to the nature of the event and the limited capacity, we have decided it will be an evening for adults only.
