YES! If you don’t have one or yours is expired, please take care of it now. Wait times can be up to 4 weeks or longer.

Is the resort family friendly?
Answer
No, the hotel is adults only and anyone who is a guest or is on the premises is required to be 18 or above. Please text us if you'd like to bring your child and we can share other recommended resorts. The wedding will be off-site at a private venue but the welcome party is at the resort.

Is transportation included from the airport to the resort?
Answer
Transportation to the resort will be provided by the hotel and includes a complimentary round-trip shuttle from Cancun International Airport for two passengers per room. Our planners will reach out to collect flight info and coordinate shuttle transfers prior to the wedding. If you have more than two guests in a room, please reach out to our planners, The Eventeur, via the travel page for more information.

Is there a welcome party?
Answer
There is! We'll be hosting a welcome party for all guests on Thursday, April 16th from 8-11pm so if you're arriving on Thursday, make sure your flight isn't too late.

What is the dress code for the wedding?
Answer
Beach Formal Attire: Long or floor-length dresses for women and suits (linen if you have it!) for men. Think fun patterns or bold colors, and sandy neutrals. Please note, the wedding will take place on the beach but dinner and dancing will be on a hard surface. The sand should be pretty firm but low heels are encouraged. Also, keep in mind that it can be fairly windy near the ocean in the evenings.

Our planner will provide a form to select your dinner entree and share any dietary restrictions closer to the wedding but feel free to reach out to us as needed!
Question
Is there transportation to the wedding venue?
Answer
Yes! We'll have buses to take guests from Unico to our wedding venue, Blue Venado, and back. The shuttles will pick up outside the hotel lobby at 4:45pm and will return guests to Unico at 10:45pm and 12:30am.

Can I take photos and/or videos during the ceremony?
Answer
We kindly ask that you refrain from photo or video recording for the duration of the ceremony. We have a wonderful team of photographers and videographers who will be there to capture our day, and we will be happy to share the images and videos after the wedding.
